Landscape Labourer

We are currently looking to recruit multiple Labourers to join our landscape construction department with the view of an immediate start.

Landscape Labourer

Salary: £26,770

Start: Immediate

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform hard landscaping labouring duties on commercial sites.
  • Assist with carrying out landscaping projects from start to completion.
  • Perform general labour duties such as preparing the ground, lifting heavy objects, raking, digging, shovelling, planting trees/shrubs, turfing, walling, paving, mixing cement, cutting etc.
  • Also complete soft landscaping duties such as hedge cutting, grass cutting, strimming, leaf blowing etc.
  • Ensure that you follow Health & Safety procedures and policies at all times.
  • Keep sites organised and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure equipment is used correctly, well maintained, and suitably stored.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Labourer/Landscaper (essential).
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude, with a passion for providing an outstanding service at all times (essential).
  • Have a strong understanding of the importance of following Health & Safety policies and procedures and be able to follow these at all times (essential).
  • Be able to adhere to company standards (essential).
  • Be happy to work all year round (essential).
  • Valid CSCS Card (essential).
  • Full Manual UK Driving Licence (essential).
  • Experience working with relevant tools/machines (preferred, but not essential).

Additional information:

  • Annual salary of £26,770.
  • Daily working hours: 6am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime: available (depending on business needs), but not compulsory.
  • Bank holiday working is required (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day). Total holidays per year is 28 days.
  • Following a successful probation period, there are many opportunities to grow and develop within the company.
